[James, with headphones on, playing piano but with no sound, Paul is stood by the piano]
James: “This is probably our best selling piano, it’s from the Yamaha range. That was a silent piano on silent… now you can hear the difference.
[James switches off piano and takes headphones off then plays piano, sound is now heard]
James: “Our main products in stock are Yamaha and Kawai pianos from Japan. Paul if you want to talk a little about the silent U1?”
Paul: “These pianos are absolutely super if you live in a house where you want to play into the evening, late into the night, and you don’t want to disturb the rest of the household. The brilliant feature is you can lock the action off so when you’re actually playing it, it still feels like a proper piano but you’ve got the sound coming through the headphones. You’ve also got the midi out which gives you a wealth of capabilities through the computer. As you can see this particular model here which is an SX100 is 10 years old and you’d be hard pushed to tell it wasn’t brand new.”
